Sales Order Return Management

Have been testing this newly released functionality (as a 'super' user in Cronus GB Dynamics NAV 10.0 (18431)). It works, after a return receipt number series has been set up on the Sales & Receivables setup page.

Two issues.  Firstly the return reason field on the return line does not work.  There are no return reasons already set up and it is not possible to add new ones - clicking the '+ new' link on the 'return reasons' page does not do anything.  This needs to be fixed because reason codes will be needed for Sales Order Returns.

Secondly, a field for 'Responsibility Centre' shows on the Sales Return Order header (when 'show more' is selected).  D365FO Business Edition does not have responsibility centre functionality (sadly) so not clear why this is showing.

No change / no improvement as at Jan 2018 and release 19573.

Although it is now (GB Dynamics NAV 11.0 18500) possible to add return reason codes it is still not possible to post a sales order return.  Receive error message "Return Receipt No. Series must have a value in Sales Header: Document Type=Return Order, No.=1003. It cannot be zero or empty.".  There is a return receipt number series set up (= 'posted return receipt nos' on 'Sales & Receivables Setup') and there is no field for a value in the Sales Header (? this is s a return, shouldn't the error message refer to a Return Header).  Basically still not working.

Thanks Tammy.  I'll diarise a month and then check back to see if these issues have been resolved.

    Hi Malcolm,

Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. They have been submitted to development to be addressed: Return Reason Code not editable (228835) and Responsibility Centre showing unexpectedly (228842).
