Who can send email as a Queue?

Hi,

Which Users within CRM can send email as a queue? e.g. the queue has it's own mailbox "supportie.xyz.com". Which Users in CRM can send emails as the queue? Is this configured somewhere? Or can anyone send as a queue, once it's been configured? I would have thought you would have to be listed in the Members of the Shared Mailbox, but I was able to send out an email using an admin account that wasn't a member. Perhaps this was because the admin owned the queue?

Anyone who has access to that queue will be able to send emails on behalf it

Admin will always be able to do this though

Thanks for the response Mark. By default does everyone have access to a queue? Is this defined by e.g. the CSR security role?

Hi JM,

Access to queue depends on the security role. Please check security role assigned to the user under core records > Queue entity.
