Dynamics AX Implementation Template?

Hi:

Does Dynamics AX have an implementation template that one could use as a reference point and guide when one is implementing AX from scratch? I know that each company is different and it is also dependent on the modules you are implementing. However are there best practice templates, templates to import data from legacy systems into AX?

    In the current version there is the methodology against the LCS project, prior to this and presumably still valid is SureStep (mbs.microsoft.com/.../SureStep). Templates are the Data Management tool in essence for data. Templates for sessions used to be in the portal but most partners have developed upon it in the years since its release.
