Hi,

We are using AX 2012 R3 CU13 and the Released products (When we try to Edit any product form), it takes up to 20 minutes to load depending the environment we are going to open it.

We did some performance tracing but the issue is still persist.

Is this a known issue in AX 2012 R3 CU13?

If something takes a long time, capturing a trace should reveal that which piece consumes the most amount of time.

So what were your findings when you have looked at the AX Trace, and at the SQL Server queries during the execution?

Do you have any customizations for tables and forms involved (EcoRes* and Invent*)?

20 minutes for a Details form to load is almost unheard of.

Do you have too much customizations in the Details form?

If not, you can also try resetting the usage data for this form and clear the user Cache.

Might have to do with Cache too!

Yes, some time it takes 20 minute and some time it takes less then 20 minute also often work fine. Yes we also check this with reset the usage data but still facing the same issue.

If you have multiple companies, try to enable PARTITION and DATAAREAID literals available in 2012 R3.

Then do an UPDATE STATISTICS WITH FULLSCAN on all of the tables found on that form, i.e. INVENTTABLE, INVENTTABLEMODULE, INVENTITEMLOCATION, ECORESPRODUCT, etc.

Of course, try this first in a test environment before attempting anything in production.
