How to add postal address and contact information fast tabs to my new form in D365

Hi all,

how to add postal address and contact information fast tabs (we can find in vendor,customer,lead etc) to my new form(customized).

can anyone suggest how to proceed/start. since i am lack of knowledge in these global addresses .

    Hi Test Bot,

    It will depend on the table structure of the data source(s) in your new form. If the form data source has a relation with DirPartyTable (like with CustTable). you can use the form parts - LogisticsPostalAddressGrid and LogisticsContactInfoGrid. You can check CustTable form as a reference.

    Hi Gunjan,

    i tried the way as you said. i am able to add address for my new form. its  working perfect.

    but coming to contact information, i am entering the record and saving. whenever i close and open the same record , i am unable to find the contacct info record in my form and table level(logisticselectronicaddress ) ..

    can u suggest me on this on how to proceed/diagnoise

    Did you create a new menuitem for Contact information form part? Could you please provide more information regarding the changes you did?

    NO i had used the standard menu item "CustomerLogisticsContactInfoGrid"

    and kindly find the attached screenshot for link relation

    You can try to debug the code in form LogisticsContactInfoGrid and check if all the correct values are getting saved while saving the form. Another option is to add LogisticsElectronicAddress as a datasource and add the action pane and grid under Contact information tab. You can check the form "VendTable" as an example where this is done.

    Hi Gunjan,

    i tried the first option sugested by you.it worked. missed relation with "DirpartyMap" to my customtable.
