Hi... I have to go for Enterprise portal in AX and this( EP ) is totally new to me as I have worked on Dynamics AX application. I have basic idea of EP but Could anyone please help with the learning procedure of enterprise portal in a structured way i.e. To which extent I should go for Share-point server 2013 and all basic stuffs related to Enterprise portal. Before starting development on EP what would be the initial requirements I have to fulfill in order to learn in a fruitful way.

    For SharePoint Server 2013 extent would be basic. Most of the basic development and customization tasks for Enterprise Portal are performed using the web-based development tools in Microsoft SharePoint Foundation or SharePoint Server. SharePoint 2010 or SharePoint 2013 can be used, depending on the release of Microsoft Dynamics AX. Tasks like creating new pages or adding Web parts to existing pages are all performed directly in SharePoint.

    How to add a webpart to SharePoint Page

    If you are planning to work on development related to EP then you should be required to have basic knowledge of .net and C# programming language

    You should have understanding of XML and HTML

    You should know how to debug X++ using Visual Studio

    You should know how what is web control object in AOT and other AOT web object.

    The answer is very much useful to me ...Thanks for the kind help... and yes I have to work on EP development and till now I have learnt the basic architecture of EP. So if you please provide me the required material or links so that it use to go in a proper sequence.
