Hello,

I am running GP 2010 with BP 5.1. While every other aspect of BP seems to be functioning properly I am having issues with nearly all aspects of the projects page. When attempting to run nearly any query from this page I get an error "A Query was not found at the specified path, /DataViewer/<modulenamehere>". Also if I click on the Queries link at the bottom of the page I get the following:

I am at a complete loss. I have searched forums, the web, etc. Any help is greatly appreciated. If any further info is needed please let me know.

Thanks,

Mike

Due to the fact that I needed this working by this week for final testing and putting this as our live environment I contacted support. Some of the registry keys were incorrectly written during the initial install. Even after uninstalling BP thos keys were left orphaned and were not overwritten with a clean install. The support team was able to remote into my system and manually remove all remnants of BP. After they did that I was able to successfully reinstall and that got everything working properly.

Thanks for your assistance. I will mark your original reply as a valid answer since a reinstall did eventually resolve my issue.

I just tried using the .msi installer package r-click repair. The repair process completed, rebooted the server as prompted and the issue persists.

    Any other thoughts?

    Rob,

I attempted to do a repair using the change option from control panel > programs and features, but it failed. I tried it again using the install media and it failed with the same error, I downloaded the files from customer source and tried again and received the same error.

I am running the install with an admin account and just to be certain I bypassed UAC I used the r-click run as admin option.

I will try doing the repair this afternoon and report back.

    Mike,

Thanks for using the newsgroups.  This is a rare error (to my knowledge).  In the cases that we've seen it, a repair of the install fixed it.  Please give that a try.

    Thanks

    Rob
