What has replaced Standard sale codes used in NAV in Business central . I want to set up as standard GL,Global dimension 1, pricing and standard lines
i would use copy document feature but there is a risk as contracted prices change year to year and some lien son one invoices do not need to be copied to the next invocie. Ideally i want a sales template that has all the information i need and then i just need to put in qty to create an invoice. Standard sales codes were very useful
Hi, if you need standard functions to perfectly meet your needs, you need to customize.
Also, as I mentioned, can you try the Copy Document feature? Maybe it can meet your needs.
Hi Zhu
its still not the answer. It say in your example that recurring sales lines can not put in prices automatically. But i do have set prices , not for items but for services. So a company will charge the same price but the quantity will change and they are invoiced the same quantity each month Its not an inventory item but if i can put a gl to an item i will use that. I am not sure why this is so difficult to understand.
Hi, I have done a simple test, I hope it can give you some hints.
How to create recurring orders (Recurring Sales Lines and Recurring Purchase Lines)
In addition, if you fix the information every time, you can also use the Copy Document function. Just make a standing order and put it there.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.
ZHU
The answer you gave is not quite what i am looking for as in the set up there is not way to put in set prices which is what i want. I want to be able to pull down recurring lines and i want the lines to have a set price
Thank you very much
I will try your solutions
You can change the Type field to G/L Account. Click on the down arrow in the Type field, and it will expand the drop down below:
but only if its an item
the sales is actual a service so it needs a gl attached. Thanks for the input but i just need to keep pushing for a solution, so if you know how to set up for a service rather than an item that would be good. We dont sell items and we dont use/have manufacturing module
You still can. The page has the same fields in BC as it did in NAV, it just has a different name
yes but you cant put in set prices for recurring lines? With standard sales codes you could. So how do you set up g/l,dimension and set sales prices using recurring sales lines?
