You must give the Azure AD application for the Excel add-in delegated permission to access the Business Central application Web API in Azure AD (which you exposed earlier in this article). This allows users of the Excel add-in to access the OData web services to read and write data.

From the application's Overview, select API Permissions.

    Select the Add a permission

On the APIs my organization uses, select the Business Central application.

    Select Delegated permsission.

Select the permission from the list, and then select Add Permission.

    Hello,

I do not think this is related to missing consent in Azure AD as it does not work in OnPrem Excel Only. It does work in a browser.

The first screenshot is about loosing internet connection. Does this happen on all computers or on just one. Is the account you are authentication with added as a service in Excel (user name at the top of the screen at the right hand side).

If you raise a support ticket to Microsoft via your CSP, my ask would be to get a Fiddler trace to see what is really happening (assuming the internet connection does not get lost of course).

    Download:

    www.telerik.com/.../fiddler

Configure it to decrypt ssl traffic, in Fiddler select Tools, Options, HTTPS, select Decrypt HTTPS traffic, and the other two options are optional, OK:

Select Tools, Win8 Loopback Exceptions (I did select all, but that is probably an overkill), Save Changes:

    Thanks.

I think the client port and OData port are enough

it is not clear for me as I am not the main administrator of Business Central

where and how can I find the ports used by BC?

what are the port numbers or protocol?

I have the same issue if I am at home with the Windows firewall

you may find the ports' number via Administration.
