Products names are showing null in Modern POS

Hi All,

Products names are showing null in Modern POS. I have tried syncing All jobs but no difference.

All products and products attributes etc. are attached with the store.

We have 2 MPOS machines and 2 stores but facing same issue on both.

Can anybody tell me what is the issue here?

We are using AX 2012 R3 CU11.

    This is answered in several places, including this post.

    You need to assign the channel to a hierarchy and then make sure the applicable metadata is set to be included and then publish the channel product attributes. Then the attributes will display in MPOS.  You'll want most likely at a minimum the Default product attribute group  for Attribute group and for metadata, you need Product name to be set to Include Attribute.

    The actions are the same between CU8 and higher version, but the newer CUs have the Store product attributes under Setup. Don't forget to publish channel updates and then run the distribution jobs. I can't recall if you have to process the assortment again or not.

    We have already applied the above solution which you have mentioned but still products name are showing null in MPOS.

    Any other solution?

    Did you try to republish and reprocess your assortment(s) and then your distributions jobs after publishing your Store product attributes?

    What causes the value to be null is the metadata not being applied.  But I believe the assortment is where the metadata is applicable so the assortment would need to be processed again.
