Email message filtering and correlation

Hi reader,

I've setup Server Side Synchronisation for e-mail messaging (2016 on premise, exchange 2010 on premise). One account has my personal e-mail address.
Whatever profile I select in my Set Personal Options (all email messages/email messages in response/etcetera), the system keeps synchronising my entíre inbox immediately after enabling my mailbox.

This is a big issue for us, because we can't afford to have all emails synchronised, we want only the crm-related mails.

How to achieve this? What am I doing wrong?

    Hello Jeroen,

    I'm not sure about showing only emails realted to CRM.But you can limit the synchronization of email to specific timing i.e sync email newer to 1 month while you are starting  outlook. You may manually view all emails as well.

    Hi Parbhjot,

    Thanks for getting back to me this quick.

    I'm afraid that that wouldn't serve our needs. The actual problem isn't that my entire inbox (aging two/three months or so) is synchronised, but after enabling, every email that I receive (despite the sender or subject) is synchronised.

    These could easily consist of private mails or spam that I receive.

    Is there really no way to limit this to emails with the CRM token (CRM:00010000001) in its subject?
