Where do I run the setup for the SRS data connector?

When I run the setup for the SRS data connector does that have to be done from my sql server?  I noticed in the deployment manager when I do it that way it requires another crm server license for the sql server.  Or does it require a crm server license for the sql server no mater what.   When I tried to run the srs data setup from say my backend server it would see the sql but not the instance.

    Hi , SRS Connector must be installed on the SRS Server. Most often this is the same box like the SQL Server. It does not reqire an additional license as it is an part of your existing license.

    The answer for my question is that you have to install CRM SRS Data Connector on the server that has SQL Server Report Services installed.    Although SQL Server Report Services does not need to be installed on your SQL server.
