Fixed Asset has Value Model status 'Not yet acquired' although the asset was acquired in December 2017.

Hi Guys,

Need your help regarding an issue. A fixed Asset shows value model status as 'Not yet Acquired' although the asset was acquired three years back. Also the fixed asset appears in fixed asset acquired list page. So confused how this could be possible.

Hi Karan Nair,

Is it possible that you have multiple books / value models and that only one of them shows not yet acquired?

Another option is that all of the transactions for this fixed asset have been cancelled. In this case, the status might also be reset.

Can you share some screenprints of the transactions that have been recorded for this fixed asset?

For that fixed asset only one value model is present and that status is not yet acquired.

Hello Karan,

Thank you for the update.

If you open the fixed asset book/value model, do you see transactions recorded?

If so, have some or all of those transactions been reversed?

There are no transactions on the fixed asset that has been reversed. What could possibly be causing this issue?

Hello Karan,

Can you share some screenprints of your value model and how it integrates with finance/GL (posting profile).

Also, can you share a screenprint of the fixed asset transactions that have been recorded against this fixed asset?

Hi Karan,

That looks like a bug.

Already checked LCS but could not find a hotfix that seems to fit your system version.

Can you debug this yourself? It you need support, then I would recommend opening a ticket with MS.
