Posted on by 107

Hello everyone,

How can I make sure that users subscribing to the a subscription list have also their consent level set up to "(3)Subscription"?

Thank you!

    Thank you Clofly,

I was wondering if there is a way to have the confirmation for a subscription list attached to consent level 3, so that every time I have a registration to a subscription list, consent level is automatically updated.

My challenge is, how can signing up to a subscription list (therefore wanting to receive emails) be connected to consent level raise (3) Subscription, but not change it when user has already consent level (4)Marketing?

As far as I understand right now, I can do so if I add my "Consent level" checkbox in my marketing form, say every time a user signs up, they checked a checkbox consent level (3)Subscription. But with this solution I have another challenge: how can be sure that, a user that is already in my system with consent level (4) Marketing, does not get downgraded to consent level (3) Subscription at the time of signing up via marketing form?

    Does this make sense?

    Thank you!

    Hi Catermina,

Their preference of consent level will reflect on Consent Given field of Contact form/entity.

Thus we can check whether the field option has changed in Contact form as confirmation.

In addition, we can also enable auditing on Contact entity to track their consent level change history.

    Regards,
