Hi,

I had setup workflow for Purchase Order Approval via Workflow Maintenance window. But, upon clicking Submit on the Purchase Order Entry window, I en-counted an error "[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0][SQL Server]A.NET Framework error occurred during execution of user-defined routine or aggregate "GetAssignedUsers". System.IO.FileLoadException: Could not load file or assembly 'System.DirectoryServices, Vers[

Anyone can advise what can i check to resolve the above error?

For our client the error started happening out of the blue; they'd get it after clicking 'Submit' on their PTE Time Sheet Entries.

    exec wfDeployClrAssemblies fixed the problem.

Thanks to all the earlier posters.

    Hi,

I have the same issue after the Windows update on the GP Web Services Server. Looks like the .Net Framework updates cause the issue. Tried running the exec wfDeployClrAssemblies. Didn't help. Anyone know a solution?

I ran a profiler and give me the next result:

Could not load file or assembly 'System.DirectoryServices, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies. Assembly in host store has a different signature than assembly in GAC. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131050) See Microsoft Knowledge Base article 949080 for more information. ---> System.IO.FileLoadException: Could not load file or assembly 'System.DirectoryServices, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies. Assembly in host store has a different signature than assembly in GAC.

    Somebody can help me?

My response pertains to Workflow Managers for Project Timesheet workflow only ... a timesheet appeared in the Workflow Tasks (at Home page) due to exceeding the two week window for approvals in the my Home Page (I'm an admin and WFT Manager) but not in the business' support team member's home page, despite the user being set up to manage Workflow Tasks.  The problem was the timesheets were sent to the Workflow Tasks window **before** the business user was setup to manage the tasks.  I was able to delegate the overdue timesheet to the business user's account and then the tasks appeared in the user's home page.  It is my expectation any new overdue timesheets will also start appearing in the user's Home Page going forward...if this helps.

This issue has to do with the fact that you don't have any managers setup in your workflow.

This solution worked for our recent server migration, thank you!

The workflow 2.0 uses the Pre-Windows 2000 Domain name or WindowsDNSDomain name and not the Windows Domain name as expected.  It seems very backwards and as a result Workflow Name assignment does not work properly.  If it is working by design as specified in the other forum post then why does it not appear correctly with the assigned user.  So for example we see Assigned User: " " and its only when we update the WFI10004 table where we see the corrected Assigned user appear.

Hi, not sure if you can further advise me on the following. I manage to click submit but there isn't email sent to the assigned users.  In the workflow maintenance, Purchase Order Approval, i created a step with type = Approval and Condition = Action is always required for this step and had assigned to People and Groups. I had assigned this back to myself; a domain name\window name. Upon clicking Submit in Purchase Order, the PO had been successfully submitted BUT when i re-open back the PO, the workflow history show approval by <<empty>>. The is a gray menu bar showing PO Step 1 [Pending approval by ; due 10/29/2014 [09:50AM].

I had tried on Purchase requisition and face the same problem.

Appreciate advice on what further need to be defined.

    Thank you  very much
