We are running our environment on Citrix with Terminal Servers - We have 6 Terminal Servers (which are the client side) and 1 SQL server. One of the terminals servers had an issue and had to run GP Utilities and update the databases. It completed. Not when GP 2010 is launched we are getting Version Mismatch error.

This is from the error log file =

Product Name: HRM Solution Series     Database Version: 11026     Client Version: 11021
Product Name: HRM Solution Series     Database Version: 11026     Client Version: 11021

Looks like the Database is on a higher Version than the clients? Which is weird because I don't recall updating the database. Anyway...What do I need to download to the clients to get them on version 11026 as well?

Please help THANK YOU! Out company is down because of this! Thanks in advance!

You will need the same  GP service pack applied on the server....and any add ons such as smartlist builder, bank reconcile etc.

The current version is : 11.00.2390

    you can get that here:

    mbs.microsoft.com/.../MDGP2010_PatchReleases

    For Previous releases, look here:

    mbs.microsoft.com/.../MDGP2010_PreviousPatches.pdf

I couldn't find anything with 11026 or 11021 next to it. The HRM Solution Series is product 1911 and should be updated as part of the regular Dynamics GP update. I'm not aware of a separate update specifically for the HRM series.

    Kind regards

If you look in the Dex.ini file on the server (in the Dynamics data folder), you may have an entry Dictionary Version= the number that follows is the version and build of the installed client of Dynamics on the server. Your workstations need to be that same version and build.

    Hi again

Mariano Gomez wrote an article several years ago about methods you can use to get the version of a dictionary in the GP application. You can find it here:

    kind regards,

    Leslie
