    Hi,

Can you identify more details of the item affected in the transaction log form?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

If you use the 'Transactions' inquiry in the Inventory module, and do some filtering, can you find any transactions which have a Receipt status that is greater than zero, but a Cost amount that is less than zero?

Hi, i got the same error while closing inventory. Anyone could help solving this error? Somehow the Cost adjustment amount is bigger than posted receipt. That's why it becomes negative. I am using Weighted Average method.

Now that closing voucher is blocked and ask us to fix the problem before resume action. But this is closing task, it holds and not allow to post or adjust anything that linked to Cost into transactions. it shows message "inventory is closed as on ..." (period that we are closing).

Please help me on this issue. Thank you so much.

    Hi,

I have the same problem.  the inventory closing is "paused". I can't ix the wrong inventory transaction (manual ajustment), because inventory is locked.  How to cancel this inventory closing ?

    Hello Nancy Nancy,

What is your AX2012 version that you operate?

What is the exact error message that you receive? Can you possibly share a screenprint?

    Many thanks and best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hello Nancy Nancy,

This seems to come from an inventory closing transaction where you cannot directly exert an influence on what AX is doing.

Do you know if somebody manipulated/corrected some inventory transaction data in your database?

Also, can you identify the transaction for the item that is mentioned?

I would recommend that you either get into contact with a developer who can look at this issue or that you open a support case with MS.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
