I am running a smartlist view from the Account Transactions folder and the results are showing the same line over and over again.  It should only show once.  How can I fix this?

Is this from a Smartlist Design or Builder modified Smartlist.

I found that when I used Designer, and I linked two tables incorrectly I got a ton of repeating line.

If not, can you provided more details on which view and which options you are choosing.

    Keep posting.

I am having this same problem with a payroll summary in Builder.  We have just updated to GP 2016.  It seems like it is adding a line for each year of data they have, even though I have it restricted to year 2016.  Each line for each employee is the same.  I have not linked two tables, only the employee summary table is being used.

    Philipa,

I have had the same experience as Bill when I incorrectly joined two tables.

    TD2012,

Take a look at the actual date in SQL. SLB doesn't always play nice with date fields and it often takes additional calculation to get restrictions to work as expected.

    Regards,

    Kirk

I didn't add any tables but it was under the Employee Summary in GP so they had a few joined.  I just created a new list and a new report and it's fine.  I'll have to re-create all of them but they're pretty quick.  Sometimes it's easier to start over than try to fix it.  I'm not sure if the update did something or if I did.  Thanks for the response.
