Opportunity revenue over the years

My client has an opportunity for 1 million for a deal term of 3 years. so the revenue will flow in 3 years and now in a single go. How do I show that in Dynamics CRM as CRM allows one opportunity per estimated revenue. Also, the revenue flow will be different every year like 25k in the first year and then 40 in the second and so on. SO I need to enter the data and get them associated with the main opportunity so when someone is pulling up the report he should be able to get the idea about actual revenue generation from a single opportunity.

Any advice will be appreciated

Hi Ravinder Singh Jamwal, I hope you are doing good.

The way to do what you are trying is creating the total revenue for the opportunity and then you should use the invoicing function to have tracked what you have billed.

Here more info that can help:

Set up and process recurring invoices - Finance | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Docs

Create and manage invoices in Dynamics 365 Sales Professional | Microsoft Docs

Sales transactions in Dynamics 365 Sales Professional | Microsoft Docs

I don't think invoice will help out here as they will be closing the opportunity as won every year and just want to capture only the amount of revenue realized and not the estimated over the year. Just need to know how can I show opportunity getting closed with yearly revenue

    Hi Ravinder Singh Jamwal!
If what you want is to obtain another revenue data, then there are two options:
    First option:
    1. Define the formula that you will use to obtain the revenue (if it is automatically through opportunity products or if you enter it manually).
    2. Add a new calculated field that calculates the actual revenue.
    Second option:
    1. Recalculate the opportunity. Here is more information on how to do it:
Recalculate an opportunity (Dynamics 365 Sales) | Microsoft Docs

    Thanks.
