Outlook crashed when opening other CRM users calendar entry

After installing rollup 16 on CRM 2011, whenever a CRM user opens another CRM users calendar entry, outlook crashes. When CRM is disabled in Outlook, there are no problems. Has anybody else experienced this? This is with Office 2010.

    Hello,

    Before installing UR 16, were you seeing the Outlook crashing issue when opening other users calendar and what was the update rollup installed on CRM server prior to UR 16.

    What is the security role of the user and does the user has permissions to view other users calendar ?

    Is it happening for all users or just one ?

    What is the error message that you seen in UI when outlook crashes ?

    Any errors in the application logs of event viewer when outlook crashes ?

    What is the update rollup installed in the Outlook client ?

    The above details would help us to narrow down the issue.

    We recently had the same problem after RU 18 but it's an odd issue. For example I have 2 people who's calendars are impacted and when someone else clicks on their calendar items they seem to crash and that happens to all expect the owner of the calendar. The only real clue I have is the following and I can't even find any information on it..

    This issue only happens when I have the add-in enabled, Outlook does not crash if the add-in is disabled.

    I think this is looking to be strictly an CRM add-in issue at this point. So a calendar/mailbox/user profile recreate will not fix this problem.
