Intercompany settlement

Hi all, Can someone tell me the process step wise for intercompany settlement . I have created the intercompany purchase order but now want to do intercompany settlement.

    Do you refer to the financial consolidation of intercompany payables and receivables or do you refer to the payment and Settlement of intercompany invoices?

    Some additional Information on what you want to achieve would help.

    Hi S Patel,

    There is no difference to the ordinary settlement of invoices.

    After posting the intercompany orders, the purchasing party has an open (intercompany) vendor invoice that can be paid through an ordinary AP payment run. The payment run for intercompany vendors is often done in a way that companies use separate intercompany settlement accounts that are setup in the AP method of payment to avoid that money is sent from one company to the other. But this depends and I have seen many different ways how companies are doing that. Very often contractual regulations define when and how intercompany invoices are paid.

    What happens in the company that has the receivable depends on what is done in the other company.  

    So, the intercompany settlement and payment process depends on contractual regulations that can highly differ between companies.
