How can i restore only security roles from production to UAT.

Hello,

I was creating some new customized security role from security configuration in UAT.

while creating them i did some mistake and i published it and now it has affected other roles also

How can i restore only roles from production to UAT?

Please advise.

    Hi NewUserD365FnO,

    You can export the security role(s) from the PROD then import to UAT.

    i tried to export 1 role from production.

    When i open XML file i see all the roles in it why it is not exporting only selected role?

    what happen if i import this XML file will it create duplicate roles?

    Duplicate roles will not be created, however, if something is extra coming from PROD, you will have a chance to review those in the unpublished section and delete them.
