Company change in FRX for Migration to MR

I am confused. Can someone tell me if just changing the default company will change the company and I can compact that company database (I have multiple databases) ? Or how can I change the company for compacting the database?  Second, should I compact FRx system database once or click it for every company.

    So, I got the idea that yes I can use default button to change the company. But I am still looking for Frx System database compact issue, should I hit it once at last or should I click it everytime after compacting the database.

    Hi Satyendra,

    Compacting the FRx database (which runs on top of MS-Access MDBs) is not something you're supposed to do routinely... It's been many years that we switched from FRx to Management Reporter 2012, but I can't recall that I had to compact the DBs that much often..

    However,  auto-compact is something that normally something that can be enabled when working with Access Databases... but with FRx you don't use MS-Access but rather a front-end application that stores data in an MDB file..  I remember that I did a few times open the MDB file in Access itself to do a repair/compact of the database, but don't recall exactly which files and how many.
