unable to grant error: ExecuteNonQuery failed to database 'MASTER'

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello,

I'm moving the actual  SL installation to a new server,  when we  try to connect with  DB  Maintenance   the system sends  the message

unable to grant error: ExecuteNonQuery failed to database 'MASTER'

The next step  for this  installation is to migrate to  versión SL2011 FP1

thanks

I'm having this same issue.  Was there ever a resolution?

Did you go into the Domain and company tables and make the changes related to the databases and their new location? If you didn't rename the database, then you might just need to change the server's host name in the domain table.
