Hi,

I am working on upserting data using C# SDK. Using Administrator role I am trying to insert record in Account entity but I am getting the above error. I am not sure why it was not working. Please help me to resolve this.

Thanks.

Check what Daniel wrote (workflows & plugins). Also, check given GUID - probably it won't be Administrator account, but someone else, who doesn't have enough privileges.

Thanks for your reply. I am using the system administrator role to insert records into Account entity but still I am getting above error.

edit: read too quickly. Realized now that it's asking for read access to the mia_budget entity and not the account entity. Check that there aren't any plugins or sync workflows that are running on create or assign of account that handles automatic assignments of the mia_budget entity. If you have such customizations, the problem might still be the same as below (someone set to own an entity they don't have read access to)

    Previous response:

When creating accounts, CRM will also check the privileges for the user that you have set as owner for this account. If this user does not have read access to the account entity, that user is not allowed to be the owner for that record.

Please check that you have assigned appropriate security roles to all the users appearing as owner in your account data set you are trying to insert.
