Hi,
I want to sync contacts between D365 Marketing and D365 Sales. I have created a Marketing Trial, but I cannot see my Marketing Contacts in Sales.
I configured D365 Marketing in my existing sales environment and Contacts are directly in Sync now. So to conclude D365 Marketing gets installed as any other app in D365 CRM.

Marketing Trial is a standalone application, you can export data from your production environment(D365 Sales) and import to the trial using Configuration Migration tool.
1. Generate a schema for your source environment:
E.g: only export contacts with their first name, last name and email address 1, then click "save and export".
2. Load the schema file and export data zip file to any of folder.
3. Connect to environment with Marketing Trial installed, load the zip file to import data.
Result
Now you can test your contacts in new environment:
