quantities of this item still exist in WIP. You cannot change the tracking method of this item.

trying to change the tracking of an item and I get the above error

I closed all MO and still get the error.

    Good to have your case resolved Tami, 

    One thing to consider for the record, never change a tracking option before ensuring that you have no unposted transactions at all.
