AX application version vs KB hotfix version

I have a question regarding my AX application version, I have AX2012 R2 CU7 application version 6.2.1000.4051, because I have one kernel hotfix, my kernel version is higher than the application version.

I use to install different KBs when I need it (SEPA, purchase invoice performance...), now my last hotfix is KB3098322 wich is 6.2.3000.299 version, does it means that my application version has been upgraded to CU9 (6.2.3000.110)?, I have readed what Microsoft says about updates and hotfixes https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh335183.aspx but I don't have it clear.

No, the presence of one hotfix does not guarantee the presence of all previous hotfixes according purely to version number.  Some will have prerequisites, but I doubt you installed an entire CU without being painfully aware of it.
