Hi all,

Can we restrict negative inventory's sales transactions on POS?

and

Can we have immidiate impact of sales transactions on FO's on-hand inventory? For example, if there is 4 sales order through which on hand inventory in FO will be zero then it will not allow to do more sales transactions immidiately or will not allow to create more sales order

    - This is not available out of the box. However, this can now be achieved by extending POS as inventory information can be made available on the Channel database Channel side inventory calculation.

    Can we have the immediate impact of sales transactions on FO's on-hand inventory?

    After a retail sales transaction, the On-hand of the product gets updated when a sales order for the respective sales is created through statement posting. A second option which I don't recommend is to create a sales order for each transaction on the POS itself and manually invoice them. This will be time-consuming and will increase the load on the HQ system.

    Note: The general thumb rule in retail is that the item should be sold customer if the customer has it physically. Stock mismatches should be investigated and resolved in the back office during statement posting.
