Sub Ledger Journal Entries not Yet Transferred

Hello experts,

I am seeing for my FTIs the subledger entries are not getting transferred. The Voucher is blank.
In GL parameters > Batch transfer rule is set to Asynchronous

My question is do I still need to run the 'Batch transfer for subledger journals' batch job to post the subledger entries?

Thank you

    Hi,

You don't have to run the job manually. You can wait for some time; it will be transferred with the next job run. If not, you can transfer it manually; it can be a timely issue.

    Hi,

In case you keep having entries in the form Subledger journal entries not yet transferred, try to transfer manually. It could be the case that an error prevents them from transferring automatically. In case of an error, you will then be able to read the error details.

    Hello,

I suggest you check if this process is running correctly in the process automation : Subledger transfer to the general ledger - Finance | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn

System administration -> Setup ->  Process automations

Also, you have the option to manually trigger the transfer.

    Best regards,

Thank you for all the responses, this was very helpful

    I have a follow-up question:

In one environment - I have the "Process automation polling system job" and in the second environment, I have the "Process automation background processes system job" - are these 2 Batch jobs the same?

    Thank you

    Hi,

Please create a new post for a new question. You are now changing the topic of the initial question which is confusing for everyone as the current question is about Sub ledger entries and was marked as answered.
