Dear all,

Is there a need for RMS Annual Enhancement? We were given a quotation which includes the following:

1. Annual Enhancement Renewal for Microsoft Dynamics RMS HQ license

2. Annual Enhancement renewal for Microsoft Dynamics RMS additional store access to HQ Base

3. Annual Enhancement renewal for Microsoft Dynamics RMS store operation license (POS)

    It really depends, here are some questions that may help guide your choice-

    Are you on RMS version 2.0.2000? If not it would be a good idea to upgrade, this is only available if you are current.

    Do you need Microsoft support from time to time? If so then it is a good idea.

    Would you like to be eligible for a 1 to 1 license exchange for the new smb retail product that is slated to replace RMS? If so you should be current as this will only be available to customers that are current.

    What is the name of this NEW SMB retail product? Is it available now?

    Thank you for your question.

    At this time the Statement of Direction for RMS has not changed and the next generation of RMS has not been announced.

    When it is announced, it will be posted on CustomerSource here:
