Smartlists containing "Is between" filter on Account Number not returning data

We recently upgraded to GP 2013 and have discovered that if you filter a SmartList (e.g. Account Transactions) using  "is between" filter on Account Number,  then enter two GL codes, it is not returning any data. Anyone have an idea how to resolve this?

    We have not heard back from the original poster of the question, so we have to wait to see if anything has changed in the operation.

    Any update on this?  I am experiencing the same issue.  Worked fine in 2013 but now returns no results after 2013 R2 Upgrade.

    So, is there a chance that the two filters are crossing each other?

    I know this is a simple request, but may I request that you remove the Date Filter and see what happens to the data?

    Please post a screenshot of the filters of the SmartList you are using.

    Here I am asking again, have you checked the 'Sorting' settings for Account field?

    Yes. There's another "in between" filter on transaction date

    Ken in addition to filter by Account Number using 'is between' are you adding any other filters?

    So the problem is the sorting of the Account Number which is a composite field, perhaps somebody changed it by mistake. Have you checkED the 'Sorting' of this field:

    Open the 'Account Format Setup' window: Microsoft Dynamics GP > Tools > Setup > Company and click 'Sorting' button.

    It does work on other fields like Main, Department etc
