Hi,

How i can setup column in management reporter to show the balance based on current month till current date ?

is there any way to change the report period while viewing the report or we have to regenerate it again based on the new dates ? for example i setup the date in the report definition is jun-2017 and i generated , then i need to take the same report but in the next month (  July-2017) in this case i i have to re-generate it again with new setup ??? or is there any way to take the current date automatically from the server itself?

    Hi ahmed.kimo.

Historical Reports that have been created before can be viewed provided that you run at least on MR CU9.

You can find details here: blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/.../viewing-previous-months-reports-in-the-web-viewer-cu9-feature

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi ahmed.kimo,

Well, you can directly do that from the report viewer.

    Here is an example: blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/.../management-reporter-cu14-change-the-report-date-from-the-web-viewer

As mentioned above, this requires that you are at least on CU14.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

Also one more doubt Dr, if i need to generate the report everyday , but i need to see this report replicated everyday not replaced , so users can refer back to the previous reports for example from 5 days back like that, so how i can achieve that ,

    Hi Dr,

So that means for each change in the period (in the old version) we have to re-generate the report again , i'm a correct?

    Hi,

In the latest MR versions you can do the recalculation directly from the MR. If you run an older version you can make use of the report scheduling features and define - for example - that the report shall automatically be regenerated every day, week, etc.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
