Just looking for clarification. Do users that are using PowerApp application that are directly updating records within CRM require a license to support that update / create step?
Scenario: There is a Dynamics CRM System. The App uses the CDS to pull down information, this is updated and/or created and used to alter teh Dynamics CRM record.
Does the PowerApp license cover CRUD actions to the Dynamics CRM records, or does this need to be licensed separately

Hi James,
This depends on the type of entities that you touch, the Sales entities are not accessible with PowerApps Plan1 and read-only with PowerApps Plan2 (COMPARE PLANS).
Account, Contact and Activity entities are part of the base entity that come with CDS, so there's no need for additional licensing besides a PowerApp Plan.
