I updated the AAG00401.aaTrxDimCode field in GP, How can I do in Management Reporter to solve that my reports are empty?

The most important concept is that all AA TRX use the AA index instead use AAG00401.aaTrxDimCode (similar to how it works the account index). For this reason, it is possible to update in GP the AAG00401.aaTrxDimCode field, and GP works correctly.
To solve the problem in Management Reporter because after these changes my reports were empty, you must refresh the Cache in Management Reporter.
In my case MS Dynamics GP is setup like a Legacy in MR's Console (no like a Datamart).
If GP is setup like Datamart in MR's Console, you need to rebuild your DATAMART, here are the directions:

If I'm going to filter I usually do it on the columns. You can define what tree by using the Reporting Unit where you can point to your tree and then use the Dimension Filter to filter out what dimensions (GL Acct, MR Dimension) that you want.
Also, make sure you are looking at the following person for MR tips and tricks. I've been following Jan Harrigan for the past 20 years. And when I first learned FRx would go to her site when I got stuck and still go to her site now on MR. She specializes in setting up Financial reporting and therefore stuff you don't run across everyday, she has. Here is her web site.

I have an additional problem, and maybe you can help me again.
After to install and setup MR, I created a new dimension from income in GP, but MR do not display this new dimension from GP. I need to assign values from GP like a filter in my MR tree.
Do you have any other suggestion?

You can refresh the Cache, but I have the feeling your need to rebuild your DATA MART:

Hello Susan. I updated only the AAG00401.aaTrxDimCode field en GP. All the AA transactions use other index fileds and they were not changed. All TRX in GP are working correctly.
My problem is in Management Reporter, because I can not refer to the new data from AAG00401.aaTrxDimCode field. MR is displaying the old data from AAG00401.aaTrxDimCode field.
May be there is a way to reimport the company in MR or another procedure to solve the problem in MR.

Now you have an issue, what did you update, all of your Trx Dimensions have an Account Index and that index is all that shows up in the transaction level tablesles, hopefully you didn't change the index. You would have to go back to all your trx and make sure that your AA Trx Dimensions now line up with your indexes.
But I'm jumping ahead, what did you change in that table?
Thank you very much for your answer Susan, but Analytical Accounting is setup and working correctly in GP. My problem is that my reports in MR was working well, but for a customer requirement it was necessary to update AAG00401.aaTrxDimCode field in GP. After that, my reports in MR are generated empty.
Tell me if there is something that I can do in Management Reporter to solve this problem.
there is a whole lot more for adding AA Trx dimension Codes into Great Plains.
1. You have to create the Tree for the code
2. then you create the Trx Dimension Codes
3. Then you have to give access to the codes
4. Then you have to give access to the GL accounts that you want to have access to the codes.
5. Then you can create transactions in which you have distributions that will need to have AA codes (Trx Dimension Codes) entered and posted into the system.
6. Once you have Transaction Dimension Codes setup (which is in the AAG00401 table) and you have done all of the above, other than transaction Dimension entry against the codes, then you should be able to see your codes within MR.
But again, depends on what version of MR you are on. In some of the earlier versions you had to have an Analytical Company setup but I think once we got to Data Warehouses you didn't need to do that any more.
So, give us a little more information and let us know if you have setup the rest of the AA setup and if you are even at the point that you should be able to see the TRX Dimension Codes to pull onto an MR report
