Hide Settings Area in DFM

Hi,

Do you know how to hide the settings area for users only without having to modify the sitemap or create a new marketing app?

I removed the access from the security role dedicated to marketing but that doesn't change anything for my test user.

Thank you for your help.

RE: Hide Settings Area in DFM

    Hi,

Unfortunately, the settings you selected cannot be hidden. It is an area of the site map.

Only if all the subareas under it are hidden from the users, will this area be hidden.

Setting the display of subareas through the security role needs to be based on Entity. however, not all subareas are pointing to an Entity.

So only the subareas, such as Domain authentications, can be hidden.

Simply remove the permissions of the security role for the entity corresponding to the user to hide the subarea.

This is the final result that can be obtained.

The links in the Settings subarea will still be displayed, but will appear blank when clicked.

If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.

    Best Regards,

    Nya
