How can I edit the quick create menu on the top bar of the Dynamics 365
Hi JKR,
The “the quick create menu on the top bar” you mentioned is the button marked in the following screenshot:
And you want to edit it, which means that you want to add or remove entities from the list?
The option is controlled by the Quick Create checkbox in the entity, you need check it if you want to add it.
Then you need ensure one quick create form has created for the entity.
And if you are expecting Quick Create forms to show up in your application at all, you need to add corresponding entities and forms to the app designer which are allowed for Quick Create. Although, you don’t have to add those entities to the sitemap.
Finally, the quick create menu will also only show the entities a user has permissions to create and edit. So if there is an activity entity within that list that a person will never use you could disable it in their security roles and it won't appear for them. As a System Administrator you would however always see it.
