Run Adjust Exchange rate on Job Queue

Hi guys,

My BC SAAS customer wants to run the Adjust Exchange Rates report (595) on a job queue. The problem is of course that this report request page does not contain a no series option, so the job queue will not be able to run, since the report request page requires user interaction (entering manual value in the field Document No.). Any suggestions to how we can run this report automatically?

I have the same question (0)

most likely You need to create a new report, where You provide the values dynamically for the fields that usually are entered in Request page.

Thanks, yes well that is an option of course but I was more looking for a way to solve it in standard BC. Might also be a Power automate flow.

Hi, if you need full automation, as KasparsSemjonovs mentioned, this requires some customization, even with Power Automate, you will need to create APIs to run reports. But if you manually change the following Request Page content every time in Job Queue, this can also be achieved, but this is not completely automatic. . . .

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

Thanks Yun and Kaspars for your answers. So I guess we will keep hoping for better flexibility in the report request page in some release in the future, I find it odd that this is not possible to automate in standard BC.
