I have a very strange issue.
On my Accounts form, we have several currency (base) fields.
The value is correct, but the symbol is not. It is using the accounts currency.
What is even more strange is, when I go to advance find and add the column - the value AND symbol is correct...
What is changing the symbol on the field, on the form?

Having the same issue - cloud Dynamics 365 latest version.
Base currency for system is USD - we only use USD.
User personalization settings / formats are set to English (United Kingdom), so in the new Global Search, the British Pound symbol is showing (even though the currency amount is the USD amount from the record). If user changes formats to English (US), the symbol is correct, but now her dates are showing the US way instead of the UK way.
I figured out the issue: when we move the "total section" below the quote detail sub-grid in the quote form the issue with the wrong currency appears. From my point of view a bug.
I have a similar problem that just occured these days.
We had adjusted several times the default quotedetail sub-grid view (the one that is allowing inline edit). We figured out that we cannot change the view without loosing inline edit functionality.
Now the currency in the subgrid is always showing the base currency, independantly from the currency set in the quote.
The original quote form still has the original sub-grid and there the currency is displayed correctly. The new form has many new changes compared to the old one so we would like to "rescue" our changes.

Make sure you set the default currency by going to Go to settings>>Administration>>System Settings>>Set default currency.
In addition ask users to change currency in their personal options.
You can also create Business rules on Account/opportunity/Orders etc. and set default currency.
Stay up to date on forum activity by subscribing. You can also customize your in-app and email Notification settings across all subscriptions.
