Excel calculation while importing

I am importing a excel into Nav using excel buffer. I want to use excel calculation formula like LEN ,MID on some fields of excel.I want to apply the formula in some excel cell and import the value of cell in Nav.

    Hi NavTech,

    System imports value of Excel Cell (result of formula) by default. May be the formula cells are formatted as text. Try to format them as general, reupdate the formula. Besides, paste value can be helpful!

    in clients functionality they have some fields for enter excel cell numbers like A1, B4,

    Based on these cell value I have to prepare a excel formula( LEN(A1) or MID(B4,2,6) ) and apply.

    Why don't you use the same formula in NAV and calculate the values?

    Excel formule for example   =MID(A3,1,25),=LEN(A3).

    I am trying to make formula string but dont know where to pass it
