Managed and unmanaged Solutions

Hi,

I have imported my managed solution into my environment, while opening the solution i got an error like

You cannot directly edit the objects within a managed solution. If the managed properties for solution objects are set to allow customization, you can edit them from another unmanaged solution.

And in my canvas app there is no code component in the code tab.

Hello,

If you want to edit the solution in your destination environment jut move it as unmanaged or open it from "Default Solution".

Hello User,

You cannot make changes to a specific part of a managed solution directly.
To modify any part, you can change the property of that specific part to enable customization.

Choose a part from an unmanageable solution.
Next, click on Managed Properties.
Click on the option that says "Can be Customized" and check the box next to "SET. "
