Hi,

BOM1 Item1 - Finished item

Item2 - WIP (sub Assembly item)

Item3 - RAW material

All 3 released products are created and BOM1 is created.

When I go back and check BOM level in Released Products \Item1\Edit\Engineer fast tab\ BOMlevel field...its value is 0 instead of 1. Even BOMLevel value for Item2 and Item3 are also 0 but not 2 and 3.

Is some setup missing ? how BOMlevels are automatically updated?

Are Item1 and Item2 'Formula' type items?

Does the 'Recalculate BOM levels' job help? (Inventory management -> Periodic -> Bills of materials).

Master planning will recalculate BOM levels automatically as it starts.
