Hi All,

is there a way to run MRP by assigned user or responsibility?

Basically, we will have four people running MRP looking at different aspects of the business and I only want them to see their sales order / production order requirements?

How do you split who’s is who’s orders? Filters are on offer when calculating a plan, but they are mostly item data focussed. Item categories could be useful but depends on setup

It would take modification with the data as it is, most likely. One way you could do it without modification would be with different item setups. If you had an item variant per customer you could use the filter.

Scott,

When my customers have multiple Planners (Purchase Planners), we create Planning Worksheets Batch names. Now in addition, the Vendor have defined Purchaser Code that designate these planners to different Vendors. We have added the filter to the Planning Worksheet batch names so they filter out by Vendor requirements.

Now, I have not asked how Sales are defined by these planners. Note sure if your planners are given Vendor No. ranges (i.e. A-G, H-K, etc...) which the Planning Worksheet can be filtered by out-of-the-box.

We do it slightly different, different planners have different customers so I am going to see if I can track this the same way as you have with vendors.
