Is RMS 2.0.0151 (and 2.0.0155) compatible with Windows 10? Just using RMS Store Manager.
Older WIN7 computer died, replacing with WIN10 machine. This is just a pricing computer, so only need to run RMS Store Manager on it for label pricing.

RMS build 2.0.0151 is not supported on any platform.
As for build 2.0.0155, while it was not tested on Windows 10 as we only test the latest version, it should be compatible as in the past, previous versions of RMS have been working on the latest version of Windows.
Please note that this only applies to Windows, any third-party software (including OPOS) drivers may not be, and you will need to contact the appropriate manufacturers/developers to make sure that their software will run on Windows 10.

Thank you for the question, have you ever upgraded the SQL from Express 2005 (which was originally installed) to SQL Server 2008 R2? SQL 2005 is neither compatible with Windows 8.1 or 10. If the machine connects to the database, the RMS version or what the machine is used for makes no difference. It won't connect.
SQL 2008 R2 Express Service Pack 3 is free, but it does need to be installed along with the 2005 SQL Backwards Compatibility patch on the server where the database is. I hope this answers the question you have.
