I've noticed when entering new projects on the Project Maintenance screen that selecting the Start Date will populate with the current date. However when saving the record the date will not be saved. It seems the date reverts to 1/1/1900 after a few clicks on the control. Most times if the user simply manually inputs the date things will save properly. I've also found manually setting a default date on the control seems to save the date correctly.
Is there an easy to default the value only after the user has selected the field? I've also found a similar issue with End date, which I do not want to default until the user selects the field.
