Content Settings placeholder not displaying on Test Email and Go Live

Hi there,

I just want to ask why does my content settings expression in a marketing email seems working when it was in Preview mode but when I test send it to sample email address or when I Go Live, it is still empty? I use only the following expression.

{{msdyncrm_contentsettings.msdyncrm_addressmain}}

{{msdyncrm_contentsettings.msdyncrm_addressmain2}}

{{msdyncrm_contentsettings.msdyncrm_subscriptioncenter}}

When inspect element the sent email the block and the href was empty.

Could you please help me how to fix this issue and/or what went wrong or do I miss any setup or settings?

    Hi JSarcilla,

    The Expression which you used is correct, there is no issue in that. I checked it with my old environment, i faced the same issue(it was empty). Then i tried it on the Upgraded environment which actually worked, I suggest you to upgrade your environment, which can solve the issue.

    Thanks for your answer,,

    You are right the expression is correct, upon playing around I saw that expression is only working only if the Marketing email is live and the customer journey is live, which is okay for me right now.


    But moving forward, setting up customer journey is a bit tedious.

    If I am going to "Upgrade environment", does this resolves the issue?
