Edit Phone Call Quick Create Form

Hi,

I need to edit the Phone Call Quick Create form to add the "Duration" field but the form does not appear to be editable.  Is there a reason why this is the case or is there a way to edit the form that I've missed?

Thanks.

After many years this is still not possible without unsupported hacks. It looks like the answer is still a No :( ... I've been looking for the same change today too, but unfortunately still today with D365 v9 we cannot change this!

Hi all, don't we still have a way to customize 'Quick form' of Phone Call entity?

Also looking for a fix on this. The OOB form is very basic for something that will be used consistently by our users.

ermmm ok so problem has been around for almost 3 years and no solution?  Now that SLA and timer based events exist, don't you think it would be a huge time-saver if:

    a) this form (and also in cases) was editable so at least people could put in duration without having to open the record (especially busy sales people); and

    b) Use the new timer function to record duration's for any activity?  Oh that's right, it's for SLA-based stuff only and a very short-sighted use of something as simple as a timer... (Does framework spring to mind?  Maybe?  Perhaps?)

To solve the problem, the amount of time to code and resolve it would be days of work... - PER CUSTOMER!  So sure there might be an ROI on the time it takes to solve the problem from a per customer perspective, but for us as IT consultants who use CRM for day-to-day activities, this costs us a lot.  For our customers, it's equally as bad.  And when we have to retort to them that the form and fields are not editable (when everything else is), they just give us blank stares.  Those blank stares turn to black when you tell them how much it will cost just to add a field that already exists in to an existing in-line form!  hehehe yeah... Sounds ridiculous, because it is...

Microsoft, imagine if it only took you days to solve the problem, for thousands of customers who would clamor for this feature!  PLEASE!!!

Hi, if you're using CRM On-Premise, you can use a (very) unsupported method to make this forms editable.
