How could I get the Profit Margin on MD CRM?

Good afternoon,


I'm new using this CRM solution and I'm doing some test. For that reason I would like to know how I could customize the Microsoft Dynamic CRM for getting the Profit magin of each Deal/Opportunity.

Also how Could I add this information to a grafic for having not only the values of each opportunity but also the profit?

    Hi Africa,

    If you have existing fields in the form necessary to perform the profit calculation, you can add a new calculated field and set this with the formula.

    This information can be added to a graph.

    Hi Flávia,

    thanks for you help, but when you said "form" you mean the opportunity form?

    Is it there where I should customize those existing and calculated fields?

    Hi,

    Yes, I mean opportunity form.

    There you can add and edit custom fields.

    You can access at Settings > Customization > Customize the System > choose the Entity > Form.

    Thanks Flávia,

    Do you know if it's possible to add more than one product from different list in a opportunity?

    Also, the field created by us which give us our profit (Percentage and value), how could i use it for getting report or grafics? Because what we pretend is getting also the profits for each opportunity and know how much we won at the end of a year/quarter/month, etc...

    Hi,

    No, it is not possible to add products from different lists in the opportunity form.
    I see, I think Goal feature may accomplish your need, where you can rollup values from opportunity profits compared to a specific period (quarter, year, month).

    Thanks you Flávia, I tried it and I already have on a grafic our profit using goals :)

    but still needs to be improve because it's not perfect
