Cloud Migration - Table Extensions - The table does not exist in the local instance.

I use Cloud Migration to Migrate Business Central 14 to Business Central Online / SaaS.

I have customazations with Tables and Table Extensions. Both are created in a customazations app.

I use Manage Custom Tables in the Cloud Migration Tool to migrate the Tables. But I can not add the Tables Extensions there.

The data in the Tables Extensions is not migrated and the tool gives a warning: The table does not exist in the local instance.

How can I migrate the data in the Tables Extensions with the Cloud Migration Tool?

I have the same question (0)

Hello  - We currently do not have dedicated Dev support via the Dynamics 365 Business Central forums, but I wanted to provide you some additional resources to assist.  If you need assistance with debugging or coding I would recommend discussing this on one of our communities.

This link takes you directly to the Migrations channel in Yammer where you can ask questions regarding migrations:

I will open this up to the community in case they have something to add.

Hi, The info from MS Document.

    • The on-premises solution must be on the list of supported migration paths

      • If the solution is based on an older version of the on-premises product, upgrade to the latest supported version

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/administration/migrate-data#prerequisites

But from Business Central to 2021 release wave 1 (v.18), Microsoft added support for customers who are running Business Central on-premises versions 14, 15, 16, or 17 to migrate their data to version 18 of Business Central online.

I'm sorry I don't know which one is correct. I think you can try the upgrade first. If the upgrade still doesn't work, I suggest contacting Microsoft support directly.

    Hope this will help.

    Thanks.
