Un Hide Button using Ribbon Workbench

We previously hid the Focus View button via the Ribbon Workbench and now we want to un-hide. I right clicked on the hide action and selected un-hide.

The button is still not displaying and its also missing from the Hide Actions. I published from Ribbon Workbench as well as the solutions page but it cant be found.

Even though the hide action is gone, its like its still hidden.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

I would recommend checking what hides the button - d365demystified.com/.../

    Hi nvrhughes ,

You can debug the ribbon changes. For that you could add &ribbondebug=true to the URL.

your URL will be like the below one

    https://yourorg.crm.dynamics.com/main.aspx?appid=your_app_id&pagetype=entitylist&etn=account&viewid=00000000-0000-0000-00aa-000010001001&viewType=1039&ribbondebug=true

Then click on the ellipse icon in the view, you could see command checker.

Hit the command checker button. you will get a command checker pop-up from right.

With this you can debug your ribbon button

     Tamilarasu Arunachalam

Thank you. I was able to see that the button is still hidden. How do I unhide if it shows the hidden action here but not in ribbon workbench?

    Hello,

    Check this article - ribbonworkbench.uservoice.com/.../102796-5-hiding-unhiding-ribbon-elements

It walks you through unhidding elements of the ribbon.

I am facing this exact same issue,
In my case the button is globally hidden but does not show under Hide Actions in solution element.

How do i find this button? I need to unhide it.

The suggested answers do not address the issue, which is the fact that the hide action isn't even showing up in Ribbon Workbench to delete/unhide.

Using the ribbon debug I can see the custom hide action, in my case it is for the Deactivate button for the entity form (and it is a custom entity). However, it does not show up in Ribbon Workbench.

The ribbon debug showing the custom hide action in question

Ribbon Workbench not showing the same custom hide action

I thought I saw the custom hide action in the XML, but it turns out I was working on an outdated version of the solution. Not sure what's going on, but that would explain why Ribbon Workbench isn't showing the hide actions! However, it does not explain why the Deactivate button does not show up in the Form and HomepageGrid sections of the ribbon in Ribbon Workbench.
